When I went on a horse ride
While we were up hunting elk last week me and my grandpa went on a horse back ride. I had a lot of fun. and I had never ridden a horse by myself before. So when I got on and tried to back him up I kept holding the reins back to make him stop but instead he started gong backward instead. So then I made forward and then back and forth and I just kept dong it until I learned that you just pull back and then let go to make them stop. We had to up a lot in some pretty rocky eras. We turned around early though because the horse I was riding didn't want to go over a rock. I had a lot of fun even though we had to turn around early. besides my horse was getting tired anyway

What a great experience. I hope you will remember being up in the mountains with your family for the rest of your lives. Those moments are ones to reflect back on and think of with fondness. Thanks for sharing that story. I really liked it.

I remember the first time I rode a horse. My Dad's cousin helped me. They had a ranch and I loved it. I had a couple of friends with horses growing up and always enjoyed it.
I even came close to getting bucked off once.

Horse back riding is one of my favorite things to do. I love to ride out over the desert at my family's ranch in southern Utah. Sarah and I love to race each other like I used to with my dad and siblings. My favorite quote from the movie "Flicka" is when Katie first gets home from school and goes out to the barn and looks at all the horses and asks, "Who wants to go runnin'?"
It wasn't always easy, though, I remember several falls, especially when I was young. I'm glad you had fun.
I love riding horses! My family has our very own horse named Belle. She lives on my granpa and grandma's ranch. We go every sumer and sometimes we go twice or three times a summer. It is so much fun to ride horses. My favorite thing to do is to go galloping!

I wish I wasn't a fraid of horses... Thay sound like a lot of fun. I tried riding one once. I was at my friend's house. Her dad let me holnd onto him. I woulndn't let go...
